My clients have been a great asset to my training lifestyle.  Many have become good friends.  They each have added unique elements to my "wellness" learning curve.  Although I have had many many years under my belt of training MY body, and had studied under the IHSA educational programs, these absolutely did not prepare me for the true reality of how to train others.  Each individual has a unique set of needs and issues, and it was a challenge for me to engage with those differences, and create a training pattern that would fit the abilities and desires of my clients.  I have now reached a level of comfort, confident that my training can make a difference in someones life.  I wanted to dedicate this portion of my Fitness page to a few of my past and present clients.  I've asked several to share a few words about the experiences of training with me.  These are all special people, who have helped me tremendously in MY ability to teach as well as learn!

Over a year ago, I came to a point where I knew I needed to incorporate some form of exercise into my life. I’ve been training with Katie for about two years. I actually met Katie shortly after she moved to Arizona.  I was driving down a service road, which passed by her condominium, and she was outside walking her dog.  Her athleticism is what caught my eye, so I decided to stop and introduce myself.  It became a goal of mine at that point to eventually seek out Katie's expertise and guidance in my training program.  Nearly 2.5 years later, I finally did it. I have been training with her for approximately 3 months.  She has brought a level of accountibility to my entire lifestyle.  She brings extensive knowledge and experience to each workout session.  The fact that Katie actually walks the walk was a huge factor in my decision to hire her.  Her lifestyle exemplifies true fitness.  And finally, she has made it very convenient for me, since she trains me in my own home.  I have my own gym, and because she provides this convenience, it keeps me very committed to the program.
